Great Taste with Hario V60

I have been drinking your French Roast for many years, using a French press, it’s my favourite but I just tried this bean and while it was good using my French press, I couldn’t get it to taste great. So I tried the YouTuber barista James Hoffman method for the Hario V60 and it is great. This might just replace the French Roast as my favourite. I’ll try that one on the Hario V60 also before I decide though.

Good and comfy

It's a pretty good coffee. Definitely drink it for the roast flavor. I have had it a lot in the past year. Four stars isn't discrediting it. It's just a good ol coffee. I'd suggest it to someone who wants to try different kinds of coffee. Me as a snob is it my to go to? No but I do enjoy it.

Nostalgia

2021 was the year we up-levelled our coffee making equipment and finally understood what it means to “dial in” our coffee grind. Of course, you have to start with great coffee. We are presently hooked on freshly roasted 49th Parallel organic Nostalgia—exactly what we are looking for in a fresh medium roast. We grind Nostalgia more coarsely to make beautiful French Press, or dial in an espresso grind, that’s right, the cream on our hand pulled (Flair) espressos makes me wish it was morning every hour of the day! Yes to brown sugar, yes to pecan, just the right balance of acidity, and a hint of dark chocolate. Nostalgia!

Tried this as an espresso but I’m sure it will be delicious as a pour over. I hope you keep making this coffee.
